News regarding the Huawei Pocket 2 foldable suggests that it may carry a more durable internal display than its predecessors. Perhaps, the firm aims to build the upcoming small vertical phone with strong materials and reliable capabilities.

According to a Weibo tipster @BeijingDigitalMaster, the new Huawei Pocket 2 device is likely to resolve all the problems and issues related to the old flip-flop devices. Eventually, the post hints at the robustness and strength of the approaching model.

Though the tipster didn’t mention any particular defect for the previous-gen vertical foldable, a few netizens commented that the internal screen of Pocket S was more prone to damage in the early stages. But it seems as if the issue was quite negligible.

Being a successor, the Huawei Pocket 2 will offer impressive features, tech-pack capabilities, as well a more durable internal display than its predecessors.

Apart from the durability aspects, the tipster says that the device will soon enter the Pioneer Program. It means that interested consumers could be able to reserve the new folding phone ahead of the official launch timing.

Huawei Pocket: A new sub-series?

Some rumors suggested that the Chinese tech giant is planning to form a separate lineup of its vertical foldable handsets. Accordingly, this new series would be distinct from other smartphone lineups like Mate, Nova, and the P-series.

However, the company has not uttered any word on this matter so far. For now, Huawei is speeding up its production regarding chips, and phone shipment these days. Meanwhile, it is working on innovative projects. Thus, it may be possible to see an independent flip-flop category in the time ahead.
