At the flagship product launch event on December 23, Huawei launched its first flip-style foldable phone – Huawei P50 Pocket equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 4G processor and doesn’t have 5G capabilities.

Huawei P50 Pocket launched with a new concept that features a vertical inward foldable display and slim design, equipped with powerful camera capabilities, biological unlocking method, long-lasting battery, and more.

This next-generation folding smartphone of Huawei sports a 6.9-inch flexible screen, a 21:9 screen ratio, a 2790 x 1188p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate. This phone expands the thickness is 7.2mm, and the width is 75.5mm and weighs around 190g.

It has a new-generation Multi-Dimensional Hinge and Multi-Dimensional Lifting design, allowing the smartphone to achieve a seamless fold and slim form factor. In terms of camera, it has a 40MP primary color camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 32MP hyperspectral camera.

Additionally, it is also equipped with a laser focusing sensor and 10-channel multi-spectral sensor, which supports fluorescence photography mode and other functions. It packs with 4000mAh battery, supports 40W super-fast charging. Huawei P50 Pocket runs the latest version of the HarmonyOS operating system and is powered by Snapdragon 888 4G chipset.

According to Huawei, the flatness of the screen after unfolding is increased by 28%, and the hinge is impact resistant. The performance is increased by 62%, and the extreme pressure resistance is increased by 33%.

Talking about the storage configuration, it has 8GB/12GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB internal storage, supports three biological unlocking methods as well as supports a variety of customized themes, HarmonyOS universal cards, and more.
