Huawei has started sending a new HarmonyOS update for the P40 series that accompanies the latest June 2022 security patch. According to the information, the update lands over the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.263 build, updated from 2.0.0.241/243.

For your information, the Huawei P40 series comprises the following variants – P40 5G, P40 4G, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+. Thus, the users holding these Huawei P40 models are eligible to receive the June 2022 HarmonyOS update.

Huawei initially kicked off the June 2022 security patch for the Huawei P40 series smartphone global users, running the EMUI 12 interface. Thereafter, the company gradually turned to the hometown consumers for the respective update.

As of now, the corresponding users can install the mentioned update by navigating to the Settings menu. Further, select the System & Updates > Software Updates. From here, follow the prompts given on the screen to reach the suitable update.
