Huawei is rolling out a new software update for the global users of P40 Lite running EMUI 10.1. This new firmware update comes with a brand new security patch installs system improvements.

According to the changelog, the Huawei P40 Lite July 2021 update has EMUI version 10.1.0.343 and is currently under expansion mode. The device owners must have to wait until the rollout reaches their phones, as it expands gradually.

By looking at the changelog, you can find that the Huawei P40 Lite July 2021 EMUI 10.1 update fixes several security threats including 21 high and 28 medium levels of CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures).

If you want to update your Huawei P40 Lite, visit the Settings menu, then go to Software & updates, from here tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES. If an update is available press “Download and Install”, then the system will download the update. Once Downloaded, tap ‘Install” to install the update.

The device packs a 4200mAh battery with 40W maximum charging support. It includes connectivity options such as WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C. The other features of the smartphone are GPS, NFC, fingerprint sensor, and more.

In terms of software, the P40 Lite comes pre-packed with the EMUI 10.0 based on Android 10 OS. It comes in three different color options to choose from.
