Huawei P30 and P30 Pro starts receiving March EMUI security update

Last week, Huawei sent a new EMUI update for Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, on EMUI 10, installing the latest system security improvements.

And now, users of Huawei P30 and P30 Pro started receiving new EMUI update with security improvements of March 2020.

Huawei P30 and P30 Pro receiving March 2020 EMUI security including Google security patches and fixes for 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

However, there are no additional optimizations mentioned in the changelog.

Note: The update is rolling out in batches, so it may take some time to reach your device.

EMUI Versions:

Huawei P30 and P30 Pro receiving March 2020 security update with EMUI version 10.0.0.190 and 152MB software size.

Note: EMUI version and size may vary depending on the region/country.

HOW TO Check for UPDATE:

Via Settings:

Open Settings
Click on ‘System & updates’
Click on ‘Software update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’

Via HiCare/Support:

Open HiCare/Support app
Click on ‘Services’ tab
Click on ‘Update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’

Note: HiCare is now renamed as the Support App.
