A new Huawei Nova series member – Nova Y61 will launch on November 25 in the Philippines. It is good news for consumers who have been waiting for a budget Huawei smartphone in the country. The company has announced opening pre-orders from the same date of launch.

Huawei Nova Y61 in the Philippines comes with a stylish design and there are three colors to pick including Sapphire Blue, Mint Green, and Midnight Black.

The phone expands at 164.28mm in height, 75.8mm in width, and 8.94mm in depth. The device weighs 188g including the battery.

The screen size is 6.52 inches which could reproduce 16.7 million colors, LCD panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate, and 1600 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution. The screen has a waterdrop notch design and provides better touch inputs at your fingertips.

It is powered by an octa-core processor and runs EMUI 12 software along with new smart features – a control panel, notification panel, large folders, and more.

Huawei Nova Y61 comes with a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50 MP Main Camera (F1.8 aperture)4 cm Macro Camera (F2.4 aperture) and a Depth Camera (F2.4 aperture).

The rear camera has Photo Mode, Portrait Mode, Pro Mode, Panorama Mode, Aperture Mode, Slow-Mo, Light Painting, Moving Picture, Super Macro, and High-Res Mode.

There are new camera features such as continuous front and rear recording for uninterrupted view with seamless transition.

While you will get a 5MP f/2.2 aperture selfie camera that could provide an image resolution of 2,592 × 1,944 pixels and there is portrait mode.

The phone is packed with a 5000mAh battery and interestingly this phone comes with a 22.5 super-fast charger. The Huawei Nova Y61 features a Gravity sensor, Fingerprint sensor (Side fingerprint), Compass, Ambient light sensor, and Proximity sensor.

Price:

Currently, Huawei has not announced the price details of the Nova Y61 in the Philippines but it is priced at R3299 in South Africa, which is around P3299 in the Philippines.
