Huawei Nova 8 will launch in Malaysia on August 27, features 64MP quad camera, EMUI 12 and more

Earlier this month, Huawei Nova 8 made its global debut. The phone was initially launched in Russia and expand its availability among different countries including the Philippines, Mexico and soon the Huawei Nova 8 will launch in Malaysia.

Now, Huawei has officially confirmed that the Nova 8 will launch in Malaysia on August 27. This confirmation came after the phone completed the SIRIM certification in the country with model number ANG-LX2.

 

Huawei Nova 8 comes with a premium design and high-end features. It will feature a curved OLED display along with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The company highlighted its fast charging ability of 66W along with the AI-powered quad-camera setup.

Huawei Nova 8:

Huawei Nova 8 sports a 6.57-inch Full HD OLED curved display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a display resolution of 2340 x 1800 pixels.

The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 820E octa-core processor with Mali-G57 GPU, paired with 8GB of RAM. In terms of software, it comes pre-installed with the EMUI 12, which remains a mystery for global consumers.

Huawei Nova 8 equips a quad rear camera setup with a 64MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera.

For connectivity purposes, the device has got support for 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C. The other features of the Nova 8 include NFC, GPS, Proximity sensor, Light sensor, Digital compass, Gravity sensor, and Gyroscope.

The Chinese tech giant has also recently introduced the Nova 8i in the Malaysian market with a bunch of offerings at a budget price. This smartphone features a 6.7-inch edgeless display, Snapdragon 662 processor, 4300mAh battery 66W fast charging, and much more.
