Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition getting first software update with camera and system optimizations

On October 17, Huawei has released a renewed version of the Nova 7 SE which is known as Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition in China. The Nova 7 SE initially launched with Krin 820 5G, which is replaced by MediaTek Dimensity 800U in Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition. Know more

Now, Huawei has kicked off the first software update for the Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition that brings optimization for camera and system stability for a better user experience.

Previously, Huawei Nova 7 SE received the September 2020 security patch that improves system security. This update is rolled out for Nova 7 SE users outside of China.

New version:

  • Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition upgraded to EMUI 10.1.1.131 from EMUI 10.1.1.122

Changelog:

  • Optimizes the shooting effect of the camera
  • Optimizes the system stabiliy

POINTS TO KNOW BEFORE UPDATING YOUR DEVICE:

  1. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
  2. The update will not erase any data.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open settings
  • Click on the System & updates
  • Open software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

  • Open the Support app on your device
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Click on the update button
  • Tap on Check for update option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device
