Huawei Nova 5T gets 2022’s last EMUI update



Huawei Nova 5T has started receiving the last update of 2022, which improves the phone’s EMUI security aspects latest security patches released in December 2022. As of now, Huawei distributed December 2022 EMUI update to various smartphones including Mate 40 Pro, P40 Pro, Mate 50 Pro, P40 Lite, Nova 7i and other devices.

According to the changelog, the latest firmware update comes with EMUI 12 version The update package size is 217 megabytes. However the software update is rolling out in batches and it should be downloaded immediately, as it appears.

This last EMUI update of 2022 for Huawei Nova 5T comes amid the wait of EMUI 13. Yes, even after three months of listing, Huawei has not published any updates on this upcoming EMUI version.

Huawei Nova 5T users can download this update via Settings > System & updates, followed by Software updates and then CHECK FOR UPDATES. You will have to wait for a few minutes until the phone connects to the server and fetch the update.

If available, Huawei Nova 5T users can press “DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL” to start downloading the OTA package. Don’t forget that this would take some time to complete the EMUI package.

Huawei Nova 5T was launched with EMUI 9.1 and upgrade over EMUI 10, EMUI 10.1, EMUI 11 and currently runs EMUI 12.

The phone comes sports a 6.26 inch of LCD screen with all view FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and 97% screen to body ratio. The phone has 6GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage. It is powered by Kirin 980 octa-core chipset, Mali-G76 GPU, and has side fingerprint scanner.

The phone has quad camera system, which takes high quality photographs thanks to its 48 megapixels of primary camera with f/1.8 aperture. The camera system also includes a 16 MP f/2.4 aperture ultra wide angle camera along with 2MP macro camera and 2 MP bokeh camera.

The phone also brings a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture for front photos.
