Huawei Nova 12 SE is under development but launch unconfirmed

A tipster revealed that Huawei is working on a Nova 12 SE smartphone that may not meet the launch event depending on the ever-changing strategy.

Weibo’s FixedFocus said that the new Huawei Nova 12 series has a new Youth Version, which is also known as the SE version. However, the tipster shows a possibility that this model may get canceled.

Following the outstanding launch of the Huawei Mate 60 series, Huawei is now focusing on the next major launch in the mid-range Nova series.

From the current situation, the price of the Huawei Nova 12 remained unknown from the official point of view but there are several leaks and rumors available on this device.

A leaked render of the Huawei Nova 12 shows that the phone would bring refined looks from its predecessor. Among these new aesthetic changes, the company likes to focus on the camera and the new chipset.

Huawei Nova 11 SE:

Last month, Huawei unveiled the Huawei Nova 11 SE smartphone released a few months after the release of the main lineup. These SE phones are known for their budget-friendly prices, high-quality camera, and stylish outlook and Nova 11 SE was no exception to this specialty.

It equips a 6.67-inch screen with 1.07 billion colors, P3 wide color gamut, OLED screen type, and FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels).

The device has triple rear camera systems including a 108MP main high-res camera and a secondary 8MP ultra wide-angle camera system. The phone also offers a third 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Not only the rear but the front of this phone is also packed with a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture. It equips a large 4500mAh battery, which could recharge with a 66W super fast wired charger.

Other than these hardware technologies, Huawei Nova 11 SE offers a pre-installed HarmonyOS 4 operating system with plenty of smart features. For now, Huawei Nova 12 SE has no launch date but we will keep you posted with all of the future updates on this matter.
