Huawei Nova 11 SE launched with 6.67′ tiny bezel screen, 32MP front, over 100MP rear camera and 66W charging

On October 31, 2023, Huawei launched its new Huawei Nova 11 SE smartphone, which brings a brand new design and a host of hardware and software capabilities for the customers.

Huawei Nova 11 SE comes with a new star ring camera design providing a new sense of fashion. The rear side has a crystal matte texture, which provides a delicate touch. The phone has three color options to choose including Green, White, and Black. Except for the green and black versions with matching frames, the white color has a silver frame.

The overall body weight is light and weighs 186 grams, while the thinness counts at 7.39mm.

The Nova 11 SE equips a large 6.67-inch OLED screen with ultra-narrow bezels on three sides. This expands the screen-to-body ratio of 91.85%. The display reproduces images with 1.07 billion colors, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 100% P3 wide color gamut. Interestingly, the screen brightness could go as low as 1.8 nits for comfortable views.

The gaming on the Nova 11 SE is supported by Touch Turbo 3.0 to support 8X super-resolution touch speed, providing quick interactions, while playing intense games.

The front of the phone sports a 32MP ultra clear selfie camera with Prefix RAW field texture portrait, new portrait mode improvements, and large pixel technology for rich details in photographs.

The Huawei Nova 11 SE was launched with a 108MP super high-quality rear camera and it is an upgrade over its predecessor.

According to Huawei, the main camera is using pixel-level image quality processing for high-quality pixel output and color correction. There are new improvements added for the night and low-light photography scenarios. The rear triple camera system also consists of a 112-degree ultra wide-angle camera and a macro lens.

The new phone packs a large 4500mAh battery and it has a rechargeable wired charging capacity of 66W.

In terms of software, the Nova 11 SE runs HarmonyOS 4 out of the box with a set of new emojis, a live view, a new smart notification center, and an app control center.

Huawei Nova 11 SE comes in two storage versions with the following prices:

• 256GB version is priced at 1999 yuan (273 USD, 257 EUR)
• 512GB version is priced at 2199 yuan (300 USD, 283 EUR)

The pre-sale of the phone starts today in China and the open sale is scheduled for November 8, 2023. The global launch of the phone is yet to be announced.
