Huawei MatePad Pro with HarmonyOS operating system enters and empowers the tablet market

In early June, Huawei launched the first-ever HarmonyOS powered by tablet – Huawei MatePad Pro. This brand new tab has two different screen sizes of 10.8 inches and 12.6 inches.

The OLED display design, Kirin 9000 series SoC, huge battery life, and HarmonyOS are the bright spots of this tablet, making it a next-generation tablet.

Furthermore, the advanced distributed capabilities of HarmonyOS offer smart and convenient interaction between different devices. We can’t deny that cross-platform collaboration among tablets, smartphones, laptops, and other IoT devices opens a doorway of limitless creativity.

The Senior Technical Director at Huawei Technologies, He Gang already stated that the Huawei MatePad Pro with the power of HarmonyOS will push the limits of tablet application outlines.

IDC Report:

Besides, the 2020 China Tablet Shipment Report shared by IDC also disclosed that Huawei obtained the second most shared of 35.1% in terms of tablet shipments after Apple with 39.8%. Both firms hold 75% of the total market share in Mainland.

After the launch of the Huawei MatePad Pro, this shipment race has been doubled by now. Finally, Huawei overcomes the shadow of Android and working to establishes its own empire of the HarmonyOS platform.

At present, Apple’s iPad is reading the tablet market with its iPadOS interface but soon it’ll share its dominance with Huawei HarmonyOS. And, without Huawei, the Android tablet market can collapse anytime.
