Huawei MatePad grabs first EMUI update with Multi-Device Control Panel

Huawei MatePad is the latest addition to the MatePad tablet series and currently available to purchase in China. It sports a giant 10.4-inch display with 2K resolution and a screen ratio of 84% for better viewing angles.

Huawei has especially customized this tablet for learning and educational purposes and runs the latest EMUI 10.1 operating system.

To improve its features, Huawei upgrading the EMUI version and giving the MatePad users first system optimizations including the followings:

Multi-Device Control Panel:

Allows you to connect to your devices more easily by using the Multi-Device Control Panel, such as when connecting to your audio input or output device during music and video playback. Swipe up from the left or right of the bottom edge when the screen is unlocked to access the Multi-Device Control Panel. Go to Settings> More connections> Multi-Device Collaboration to try it out.

System:

Optimizes the M-Pencil Stylus.

Audio:

Optimizes audio playback for the enhanced audio experience.

EMUI Versions:

Huawei MatePad receiving the latest optimizations with EMUI version 10.1.0.115 upgrading from EMUI 10.1.0.108.

HOW TO UPDATE HUAWEI MatePad:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on System & updates
  3. Click on Software update
  4. Click on CHECK FOR UPDATES
  5. Click on Download and install
