Huawei MateBook B series commercial notebooks launched with TPM 2.0 security chip

On August 25, Huawei introduced a variety of new notebooks under the MateBook B series, which are aimed to serve the business community and equipped with a TPM 2.0 security chip. These laptops are now available to buy for commercial users. The new 2021 models of the Huawei notebooks come in different ranges as per their configurations, starting from the base model to the high-end variant.

Huawei MateBook B 2021:

These notebooks can meet all the requirements of the business and the power users. As mentioned above, Huawei has also included a TPM 2.0 security chip in MateBook B5 and B3 notebooks for security purposes. Below are the detailed specifications of the three newly launched models:

Huawei MateBook B7

The MateBook B7 is one of the high-end business laptops that uses a 13.9-inch LTPS display with a 91% screen-to-body ratio, 3K resolution, and 100%sRGB color gamut.

The laptop equips the latest 11th generation intel core i7 processor. It is paired with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with Intel Iris X Graphics.

It is packed with 56Wh of battery capacity and comes in 512GB PCIe SSD storage options. Furthermore, it also supports wireless connections including WLAN, and Bluetooth 5.1.

Huawei MateBook B5

Huawei has also launched a mid-range variant of business notebooks. Huawei MateBook B5 equips a 14-inch IPS display with 2160 x 1440 resolutions and 100% sRGB color gamut.

It is powered by Intel’s 11th generation Core i7 processor, along with a TPM 2.0 chipset for enhanced security. In addition, it also features an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 2GB DDR5 graphics card.

The notebook is paired with 16GB LPDDR3 RAM and has 512GB PCIe SSD storage capacity. It also has the same 56Wh battery capacity as the premium B7 models. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, 3.5mm jack, USB A3.0, USB A2.0 Mini RJ45, and an HDMI port.

Huawei MateBook B3

The MateBook B3 is the base variant and is less capable than the other two, but still has enough to offer. It comes with a big 15.6-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by the 11th generation of Intel Core i7 processor and TPM 2.0 security chip module.

Furthermore, the company has offered all the essential ports for connectivity, including WiFi, and Bluetooth support. It runs on the Windows 10 operating system.
