Huawei Mate X3 specs leaked for display, camera, and battery. It also suggests that Huawei has prepared a good foldable phone and it’s coming straight our way.

According to the tipster DigitalChatStation, Huawei Mate X3 will come inward foldable screen. This is a folding mechanism similar to the Mate X2. The screen will have a 2k resolution, which was 2480 x 2200 Pixels in the predecessor, so we can expect high quality. Comparing it with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, which has a 2208 x 1768 resolution. Meanwhile, the exact dimension or size of the screen has not been revealed.

Similar to the Mate X2, Huawei Mate X3 leaked specs show that the phone will pack with a full-view main display. Once folded, you will be able to access the phone via a cover display and it has a single-hole punch notch to house a selfie camera.

In terms of processor, Huawei Mate X3 is tested with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ chipset, found in the test version. This chipset will be sufficient for all of the operations inside the phone.

The tipster also shared information about the camera specs, Huawei Mate X3 will have an IMX766 main sensor with 50-megapixel capability. There’s also an IMX 688 ultra wide-angle camera and an IMX351 periscope camera system. These will likely combine in massive improvements in photography.

Huawei Mate X3 will debut a brand 4800mAh battery capacity, which could recharge with a 66W super fast charger. Interestingly, its predecessor had a 4500mAh battery, which is a big improvement.

That’s not it, the tipster said that Huawei is pursuing a thin and light design. But the question is, and it’s quite anticipating, how the tech maker will achieve this goal of implementing such a big battery while chasing light and thin design.
