Sources familiar with the matter confirms that Huawei Mate 30 series will be launching on September 19 in Munich but it’s not clear when the smartphone would go on sale in the market due to its issues with the US government.

The sources revealed that Huawei’s next flagships won’t be getting Google Play services license due to the US trade ban, therefore the company has to launch them on either plain Android or Harmony OS.

Although, Huawei spokesman said the company will continue to use the Android OS and its ecosystem if the U.S. government allows it to do so. Otherwise, it will continue to develop its own operating system and ecosystem.
