Update – A Twitter user informed us Huawei Mate 30 also received an August 2023 security update, which just popped up on the device. It has version EMUI 12.0.0.345.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro is receiving a new software update in the global market, which installs July 2023 security patch. The update comes after a long time for the Huawei Mate 30 Pro users, the phone is receiving delayed rollouts.

Last year, Huawei installed EMUI 12 on Huawei Mate 30 Pro and the company brought July 2023 update with EMUI version 12.0.0.342 with 272 megabytes of package size to download. Although, it’s a month-old patch, still, you should fetch it on your device to make it secure.

The latest software update is still a surprise for this smartphone because Huawei has not mentioned the phone in the EMUI 13 upgrade plan. However, the phone users are waiting for at least one more major feature update to settle the score.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro was the first flagship phone without Google mobile apps. The company chooses to go full Huawei HMS ecosystem along with AppGallery instead of Play Store.
