Last November, Huawei began EMUI 11 beta testing for the Huawei Mate 20 smartphones on the home ground and at the starting of this month, the company has released the stable EMUI 11 version for the 2018’s flagship.

Now, Huawei has started sending a new software update for Mate 20 users in China. According to the changelog, this update brings new optimization for MeeTime and improvements for connection stability between devices that enhance the user experience.

Talking about Mate 20 series global variants, till now the first EMUI 11 beta update was rolled out for Mate 20 global users and stable EMUI 11 is scheduled to release in March 2021 as per EMUI 11 official roadmap.

Aside from this, it seems that Huawei has removed the Mate 20 smartphones from January 2021 monthly security patch device list. In this list, only Mate 20 X 5G and Mate 20 Lite retained their spots to get further security patches.
