Huawei Luxeed sedan gets China’s MIIT certificate, named ‘Zhijie S7’

Huawei and Chery’s first collaborating sedan car – LUXEED has received China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) certificate and the car is officially registered with the name ‘Zhijie S7’ (translated).

The car is also the first pure electric coupe under Huawei Zhixuan (firm subsidiary). According to the specifications, this new car has three versions, the long version is 4971×1963, the height is 1474/1477mm, the wheelbase is 2950mm, and there is also a model of 5004x1963x1472/1461mm.

From the looks, this model has two kinds of car paints: black and white double color combination, and silver gray. It is expected to perform well in terms of aerodynamics. The front face of the new car adopts a concave design, and the shape of the headlight group and the grille area is quite dynamic.

On the sides, this new car equips a low-lying posture, matched with larger blackened/chrome-plated wheels and red brake calipers. It strengthens the sporty attributes of the car. On top of the car, you will see a lidar module.

This sedan has CATL’s lithium iron phosphate or ternary lithium + iron manganese phosphate lithium battery along with a Huawei motor. The power of the two-wheel drive version is 215kW, and the power of the four-wheel drive version is 150/215kW.

This car can opt for chrome-plated decorative strips, privacy glass, brake discs, brake calipers, rims, lidar, rear camera, fender trims, rearview mirror styles, and trims on the lower side of the headlights.

It is certified in three wheel sizes of 19 inches, 20 inches, and 21 inches, and the dual-motor version has a separately optional sporty appearance package.

Previously, Huawei Smart Car Business Group Chief – Yu Chengdong announced the first HarmonyOS 4 car. The front of the car has “Luxeed” branding, which is suggested as its name. It’s seeming a combination of luxury and exceed. This is also the first car collaboration between Huawei and China’s Chery.

According to Yu Chengdong, this new sedan will launch somewhere this quarter.
