On May 23, 2024, Huawei announced the XMAGE Co-creation plan at the Shanghai Oil Tank Art Center. With the new scheme, the company aims to promote the continuity of mobile imaging innovation as well as cultural construction worldwide.

Huawei XMAGE Co-creation plan brings new concept of innovation and advanced techs for mobile imaging. The company also invited experts, creators, and other authorized institutions to work with Huawei and its R&D team as Imaging Consultants.

The firm highlighted how the XMAGE tech used a combination of optical, mechanical, electrical, and computing to build the foundation of a creative imaging system. Thus, it offers realistic, refreshing, as well as vibrant snap outcomes to its users.

At the same time, XMAGE restores the user’s imagination and presents the image as per real thoughts, combined with emotions, and seems to be beyond appearance.

The tech giant said that it will constantly contribute to the development of the mobile imaging sector, conduct useful exhibitions/competitions, and ensure the promotion of imaging culture via road trips, interrogations with users, and tutorial classes.

During the 2024 Huawei Imaging Brand Night event in Shanghai, the CTO of Huawei Device Business Group – Bruce Lee talked about the top 10 imaging trends. He further quotes that XMAGE will combine software, hardware, core, and cloud to develop future imaging power with the following top trends:

  2. Perfect combination to take images and capture them clearly
  3. Dark shooting and telephoto photography with enhanced image quality
  4. What you see is what you get
  5. Immersive dynamic imaging
  6. Exclusive imaging style
  7. Personalized content creation platform based on HarmonyOS
  8. Imaging creation powered by AI and large models
  9. Multi-camera and multi-modality
  10. End-cloud collaboration

Huawei also mentions that it will continue to create a “warm imaging brand” by merging the power of technology and art, leading the prosperity and progress of the mobile imaging industry, as well as moving into a new era of imaging.
