Huawei launches global XMAGE Awards 2024 competition

On May 9, Huawei launched its XMAGE Imaging global exhibition in UAE, and at the same time, the company announced the XMAGE Awards 2024 competition. Interested users can register for the creative program up till September 15, 2024.

“A Heartwarming World – 12 Years of Huawei Photography’ was the title of the globally launched exhibition in Dubai, UAE. It has been the largest photography show.

During the exhibition, Huawei also launched the XMAGE Awards 2024 global competition as one of the open platforms for mobile photographic excellence presentations. This is the eighth consecutive year of the image contest around the world.

XMAGE Awards 2024 cheers individuals to set free their imagination and creativity level, and make the best use of Huawei’s imaging technology. Also this time, the company introduced some new categories in this competition which are:

• Faces – Frame your emotions through the lens.
• Moments – Capture every highlight in the blink of an eye.
• So far So Close – Magnify the tiny wonders and bridge the distant horizon.
• Hello Life – Elevate the ordinary to the extraordinary.
• Style – Taken with XMAGE vivid, Bright, Mono, and Original (No editing).
• Focus x Time – Weave a tale through 3-9 photos, merging different angles to unfold an engaging narrative.
• Action – Video within 30 minutes. Navigate the ever-changing world with time in motion. Capture or craft a memorable tale.
• Art & Fashion – Express your unique identity for the world to interpret.

For rewards, Huawei presents ‘Best of Pura Series’ and ‘Best of Mate Series’ so that consumers can explore impressive themes via Huawei’s latest flagship handsets. Winners will further display their artwork on global advertising platforms.

How to participate?

Any Huawei phone user in the world is eligible to enroll in the imaging activity. One can visit the official XMAGE Campaign page or the Huawei Community to submit their artwork. Make sure you log in on these sites with your authorized Huawei ID.

Users can also visit the official @huaweixmageawards and post their work with the hashtag #HUAWEIXMAGE. But your profile show be public and allow non-followers to text your directly. You can submit your work till September 15, 2024 (GMT + 8) Beijing Time.
