Huawei launched thinnest GaN charger, support 66W output

Huawei unveils the thinnest Gallium Nitride (GaN) charger with 66W fast charge support. Aside from the charger, the company also brings Huawei Nova 9 lineup, New Watch Fit Series, FreeLace Vitality Edition, and more products. Coming back to the Gallium Nitride charger, Huawei made this charger with a 62-gram body weight in a card-like design. With its slim design, it’s easy to portable and can be carried even in a blazer.

Moving ahead with its capability, it’s compatible with charging mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other devices. It integrates PD protocol to provide up to 66W super-fast charging for devices such as phones, tablets, earphones, and smartwatches. Its ultra-thin architecture has a thickness of 10.5mm on a 50-centimeter compact design. Besides, comparing with other Huawei chargers it has an almost 96% increase in performance and a 63% reduces size.

Pricing and Availability 

The Huawei GaN charger is priced at 299 Yuan (around 46 USD). However, it’ll officially be available for sale on 29th September at 10:08.

Furthermore, it has passed about ten safety measurement tests including short circuit protection, electromagnetic field test, over current protection, lightning protection, temperature suitability, voltage protection, and more.
