Huawei HarmonyOS August 2022: Monthly and Quarterly devices

Huawei has published the August 2022 security patch bulletin. The new security update addresses more than a bundle of vulnerabilities found in the current HarmonyOS version. But the HarmonyOS August 2022 security patch also addresses 11 vulnerabilities from different sections and severities for Huawei devices.

In particular, the HarmonyOS August patch brings fixes for the privileges escalation vulnerabilities of the System UI module, and it improves the My Huawei app design defect.

Meanwhile, the latest security patch aims to improve overall system security and not even depart a single bug that bothers your experience. Huawei is currently indulged to dispatch the July 2022 security update, but the company will soon release the August 2022 update for the devices as we have already passed a week of August.

However, below you can check the eligible Huawei devices to get the HarmonyOS August 2022 security updates. Notably, the recently launched Huawei Nova 10 series is also added to the list to receive the August 202 security update.
