Huawei FreeBuds 5 retail box leak

A massive launch event is up ahead and Huawei FreeBuds 5 is preparing for unveiling along with a unique design, which now appeared in a retail box leak.

Looking at the photograph, you will find brand new aesthetics of the Huawei FreeBuds 5 and it’s something we’ve not seen in the past FreeBuds devices.

Coming back to the image, the shape is semi in-ear and there are two openings on each earpiece, reflecting the use of better noise cancellation. However, the bottom side of the earbuds is all of the eye-catching stuff.

It’s not a straight base, instead, Huawei FreeBuds 5 brings a bulky and wide base that wraps around the bottom of the ear lobule. The entire design feels sporty but it will provide a sturdy grip around your ear.

This is a major shift in the mainstream earbuds lineup and FreeBuds 5 has completely changed the game here. Also, experimenting with something new is the way Huawei has decided with this upcoming pair of earphones.

Other than the earbuds, the retail box carries FreeBuds 5 label and Huawei branding. There are logos for HWA Hi-Res wireless audio and Hi-Res Audio wireless, which means, the new wireless earbuds will come with improved sound and amplified audio codecs to provide a better audio listening experience.

The expanded design may have allowed Huawei to put in extra sensors, possibly for a heart rate measurement as well as a temperature sensor.

Currently, Huawei has not confirmed the FreeBuds 5 launch date but this retail box leak has provided useful insights into what is heading our way. Meanwhile, the Huawei P60 series is coming on March 23, and there is a good chance for the Chinese tech maker to debut this pair on the occasion.

All in all, this is an interesting device and we’ll eagerly wait to know more on this matter.
