Huawei expanding its business sector, established four divisions

Huawei is expanding its business sectors and trying out new divisions. Recently the firm founded the Coal Mine Corps and now it has established four new subsidiaries with different working capabilities. Seems like the Shenzhen-based company changing its image from smartphone maker to top technology provider. It’s crossing the existing industrial boundaries and accumulating resources to implement 5G in different areas.

New Business Divisions of Huawei:

Just after inaugurating the “Huawei Coal Mine Corps”, the company had issued a new document describing the new divisions and their legal authorities that includes

  • Customs and Port Corps
  • Smart Highway Corps
  • Data Center Energy Corps
  • Smart Photovoltaic Corps

At the same time, the tech provider also announced the CEO of the above-mentioned organizations of Huawei. In this line, Mr. Xun Su will serve as the CEO in Customs and Port Corps, Ma Yue in the Smart Highway Corps, Yang Yougui in the Data Center Energy Corps, and Chen Guoguang as the CEO in the Smart Photovoltaic Corps.

To be mention, Yang Yougui and Chen Guoguang have previously served as the president of Huawei Digital Energy Corporation. Meanwhile, the Intelligent Mining Innovation Lab was founded earlier this year in February.

About Huawei Coal Mines:

The company wants to reduce the high-risk positions for the workers in the mining ecology which is full of risks by establishing the Coal Mine foundry. In addition, it wants to increase efficiency, and fundamental safety by using ICT technologies such as wireless control networks, optical ring networks, and cloud computing.

Besides, Huawei also bring the Mine HarmonyOS operating system in September this year. It’s the first commercial HarmonyOS industrial ecology to use smart mining solutions to break the barrier between the agreements and equipment.
