Huawei Enjoy 20 Series 5G launching on September 3

Huawei is set to launch new Enjoy devices, Huawei Enjoy 20 series on September 3 in China. This lineup includes two 5G smartphones, Huawei Enjoy 20, and Enjoy 20 Plus.

According to previous reports, Huawei Enjoy 20 will come with a 6.6-inch 720p IPS LCD 60Hz display and waterdrop notch design. It is powered by MediaTek Dimenity 720 5G (MT6853), supported by 4/6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

In the camera section, Huawei Enjoy 20 features a triple camera setup including 13MP + 5MP + 2MP cameras inside a square shape design and there’s an 8MP front camera for selfies. It’s packed with a large 5000mAh battery (10W charging).

On the other hand, the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus sports a 6.63-inch FullHD+ FullView display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek Dimenity 720 5G and 6/8GB RAM + 64/128GB storage.

Enjoy 20 Plus has a round camera design similar to the Mate 30 Pro and its triple camera system consists of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP lenses. There’s a 16MP pop-up selfie camera and it packs with a 4200mAh battery that can recharge with 40W SuperCharge.

Huawei Enjoy 20 and Enjoy 20 Plus comes pre-installed with EMUI 10.1 (Android 10). Meanwhile, Huawei is yet to confirm the launch date of Huawei Enjoy 20 and 20 Plus.

French Mathematician Laurent Lafforgue joins Huawei team

Laurent Lafforgue, a famous French mathematician and winner of the mathematics Fields Medal has joined the Huawei team, making it stronger in terms of research. In recent years, Lafforgue’s work on topos theory has led him to develop a collaboration with the research teams of Huawei France.

Discussions between Lafforgue and Huawei researchers, which began in 2017, first led to a two-year project, focused on topos theory and funded by Huawei, and then, in 2019, to the creation of the Huawei Chair in algebraic geometry at IHES, of which Professor Lafforgue was the first holder.

IHES reports, as of September 1, 2021, Laurent Lafforgue joined Huawei France to continue this work further in conjunction with the company’s research teams with whom he has worked so far.
