Huawei EMUI May 2023 Updates List (May 14)

The second week of Huawei EMUI updates has brought us some new surprises in the name of EMUI 13 and May 2023 is getting more exciting but also a bit lame in the name of this short roadmap, which is currently in discussion.

However, EMUI updates continue to flow and the company keeps on sending this software improvement for all of the devices in the global market. Yet, the second week of May 2023 is nothing new because Huawei is still sending April-made security solutions for eligible smartphones.

Speaking of smartphones, throughout the second week, Huawei kept on expanding the reach of the Huawei P60 Pro in the global markets. Interestingly, Huawei has pre-loaded this device with EMUI 13.1 with its new features.

May 13, 2023:

The fresh software is released for Huawei P40 Lite and it comes with EMUI build 12.0.0.281.

May 12, 2023:

• Huawei has started to rollout May 2023 software update for the Huawei Watch 3 series. This update has April security patches and there aren’t any additional details revealed by the changelog. The HarmonyOS firmware version is 3.0.0.159.
• Huawei Mate 40 Pro is getting an expansion of the April 2023 security patch with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.320.
• Huawei has released a new software update for P40 Pro and it comes with EMUI version 12.0.0.320 as well.

First Week May 2023 updates list Roundup:

Huawei began the month with Huawei Watch Ultimate. The company seeded this smartwatch with the ability to change gas for technical dives, improved CNS data, and installed new optimizations for better performance.

Then Huawei released April 2023 security patches for Huawei Nova Y90 and Nova 9 smartphones. Furthermore, Huawei sent a pre-launch update on P60 Pro and Mate X3 foldable model with EMUI 13.1 build. However, this is a prelaunch rollout for commercial support.

On May 6, 2023, Huawei closed the week with new software for a 108MP camera-powered Huawei Nova 9 SE.
