Huawei develops China’s first 5.5G smart parking lot network solution

Huawei and Shanghai Mobile have developed China’s first 5.5G smart parking lot network. The solution has been deployed in Taikoo Li, Qiantan, and Pudong New Area. It aims to offer a convenient driving and parking experience to consumers.

According to the information, the Chinese tech giant has used the 5.5G network coverage to build the all-new Huawei smart parking lot solution. It can reach up to 70,000 square meters of underground space – thanks to the advanced network technology.

Due to an efficient network, the smart parking lot solution offers over 500Mbps uplink capacity that can cover the requirements of 100+ cars at a time. It can also obtain meter-level positioning via software upgrades and fix time-consuming issues.

On the other hand, the latest invention supports automatic parking as well as indoor positioning facilities. Thus, consumers can save around 30 minutes from being indulged in parking and picking up vehicle operations.

That’s not it. The smart parking lot also offers a parking driver app that can let you operate one-click autonomous parking. Just pay attention to the real-time video and you will easily find the parking space without having to drive to different spots.

Besides, the real-time video ensures the safety of your vehicle. Once the car gets parked, it automatically switches to Sentry Mode. In case it detects risk factors such as scratches, or breaking down of windows then it will alert users via texts and notifications.
