Huawei could launch gaming console similar to PlayStation and XBox, as well as new gaming laptop

Huawei makes different kinds of consumer products, which enables the company to reach a vast user base around the globe. Talking specifically about the computer devices, Huawei has different lineups that range from low to high-end as well as business purposes.

Now, a set of new inputs coming from Weibo reveals that the Chinese tech giant may launch a new set of notebooks that will be specially produced for gaming. Moreover, the company will also launch a new gaming console that will be functional as similar as Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox.

Ahead of the launching of gaming consoles (will take time), Huawei will first land on the gaming PC market this year, which is much suitable for the company’s current notebook lineups and expand it further.

Other than this info, the tipster doesn’t reveal much about the specs. Meanwhile, Huawei has not announced any such product launch at the moment but it’s more likely to happen.

Gaming Notebook Plan in 2020:

Last year, Honor launched its first gaming laptop, Honor Hunter, which comes with pretty heavy specifications as well as a gamer targeted design. It’s also reported that Huawei was also prepared to reveal its own gaming laptop in 2020 but didn’t do so.

Huawei MateBooks 2021:

However, at the beginning of 2021, Huawei introduced new laptops – MateBook X Pro, MateBook 13 and 14, powered by 11th gen intel processor for maximum performance and the PC version of AppGallery.

Following this launch, Huawei has also planned to launch the AMD versions of the MateBook 2021 series but there’s no confirmation on that at the moment.
