Huawei-Chery Luxeed R7 SUV official images are out, launching soon
Today, Yu Chengdong – the Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business has shared official images of the Luxeed R7 SUV. Jointly built by Huawei and Chery, this is the first coupe SUV under the HarmonyOS Intelligent Driving business umbrella.
Yu Chengdong dropped the official images of the Huawei-Chery Luxeed R7 SUV on his Weibo account. The executive says that the letter ‘R’ in the smart car’s name refers to “Revolution” which signifies breakthrough and supervision in the automobile industry.
He also talks about the overall design aesthetics of the dynamic SUV. Yu states that Luxeed R7 features a coupe outlook, wrapped in a fashionable body structure.
Consumers will observe a spacious feel inside the car with a luxurious sense in the design. Yu mentions that the smart vehicle runs on Huawei’s latest driving solutions which will help it to push back its rivals in the Chinese automobile market.

“Coupled with Huawei’s leading smart black technology, Zhijie R7 surpasses traditional luxury car brands in terms of product strength! It provides consumers in the era of smart travel with a better new choice of coupe and SUV, which is worth looking forward to!” – says Yu Chengdong.
The official images reflect a bright burgundy shade with a shiny finish. It also shows a round body shape with thin lines near doors and windows. As mentioned in the earlier report, the device seems ready to compete with Tesla Model X and Y.
Huawei has showcased the official images of the Luxeed R7 to consumers but the launch time is still a mystery. Although the company won’t take much time to officially announce the release date of its first coupe SUV. Stay tuned.
