Huawei CEO will join HarmonyOS summit

Huawei Consumer Business CEO, and head of the Smart Car Business Unit, Yu Chengdong will attend the upcoming open source HarmonyOS technology summit on February 25 in Shenzhen, China.

Yu Chengdong is one of the lead people in the HarmonyOS development and the Huawei CEO saw the rapid growth of this new operating system in the Chinese tech industry, therefore, it’s obvious for him to attend this summit in person.

This summit is sponsored by the OpenHarmony Technical Steering Committee and organized by Huawei. Meanwhile, the support will be provided by partners including Runhe Software, Jiulian Technology, iSoftStone, ArcherMind Technology, Uboxun, and more.

Meanwhile, a list published by the Open Atom foundation reveals an official list of guests that will join the open-source HarmonyOS technology summit. This includes Yu Chengdong for the main forum discussion, Sun Wenlong, Chairman of the Open Atom Open Source Foundation, Chen Haibo, Chairman of the OpenHarmony Technical Steering Committee and Chief Scientist of Huawei Basic Software, Hou Peixin, Chairman of the OpenHarmony Working Committee, Ren Gelin, OpenHarmony Project Management Committee, Member of the OpenHarmony Technical Steering Committee, and others.

Technology Summit:

At the event, the OpenAtom foundation will share the progress of open source HarmonyOS called OpenHarmony and also give us an insight of the company’s work on the current development.

Furthermore, there will be developer activity as well as forums arranged for the event. These are:

OpenHarmony Technology Summit 2023

OpenHarmony:

OpenHarmony is an open-source project of the HarmonyOS operating system, it was designed and developed by Huawei in 2020 and later donated to the OpenAtom foundation.

OpenHarmony is continuously making progress in the tech industry and various companies are taking benefits from its open-source capabilities as well as shared device hardware features. In 2023, Huawei will also ramp up the number of devices running this software and take it to a new level.
