Huawei business performance inline, announced results for the first half of 2023

Today, Huawei shared its business results for the first half of 2023. The Chinese tech maker noted that the overall operation is stable, and the results are in line with expectations.

In the first half of the year, the company achieved sales revenue of 310.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%, and a net profit margin of 15.0%. ICT infrastructure business revenue was 167.2 billion yuan, terminal business revenue was 103.5 billion yuan, and cloud computing business revenue was 24.1 billion yuan.

Meanwhile, the digital energy business revenue was 24.2 billion yuan, and the smart car solution business revenue was 10. billion yuan. Huawei’s collaborative electric car brand, Aito claimed to have produced 100,000 vehicles in 15 months through a partnership. Those sales are generally counted as part of the consumer business.
