Huawei Band 9 wearable coming soon to China

Huawei has unveiled the Band 9 wearable in the global market and it looks like the Chinese OEM is readying itself to launch the respective smart band in China. While the release time is still missing, we may expect the official unveiling “soon”.

According to new information, Huawei has listed the Band 9 series on the Innovation Research app. The latest device appears in the wristband category, showcasing five colorways which include Charm Pink, White, Yellow, Starry Black, and Blue.

Besides, Huawei Band 9 series carries a tagline: ‘two-week-long battery life full-screen health bracelets’. The caption hints that the wearable aims to offer precise health status and relevant details with a powerful battery backup and durable services.

The details further reveal that the Huawei Band 9 series currently only supports the Heart Health monitoring feature. Whereas, other smart band supports Sleep monitoring and some more significant capabilities. Perhaps, we may find new additions in Band 9 in the coming days.

It is unclear when Huawei will bring the newest Band 9 to China. Yet, a sudden listing of the device clues that it may arrive in the upcoming weeks.

Some previous leaks say that Huawei Band 9 may launch alongside the P70 series. Hence, the latest information marks slight confirmation of the official unveiling of the next P-series that might take place in the coming days, probably in early April.

Huawei Band 9:

The new wrist gadget is quite similar to its predecessors and holds a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen, supporting a 194 x 368 pixels resolution and a 282 PPI (Pixel Per Density). It also has a 9-axis IMU, optical heart rate, and ambient light sensor.

Huawei Band 9 complies with a 5 ATM-rated resistance level and can withstand 50-meter static water pressure for 10 minutes. In terms of connectivity, it features 2.4GHz WLAN frequency and Bluetooth 5.0. It would be worth seeing what difference the Chinese variant will hold over the global version.
