August 2021 Huawei Band 6 update began to rollout for the global users. This new update comes with firmware version 11.1.1.28 and the Band 6 users have to download a total of 4.45MB package size.

The update changelog reveals to include important optimizations for the system that improves over device performance. The Huawei Band 6 August 2021 update is currently on the initial rollout and may require time to deliver to all of the users.

Huawei Band 6 is a new generation smart band that comes with the latest hardware and software to make users’ life more easier and convenient. It comes in a new large rectangular design with silicon straps.

How to check for the update:

  • Connect the Huawei Band to your smartphone using the Huawei Health app
  • Open Huawei Health app >> tap Devices >> device name
  • Select Firmware update, then follow the on-screen instructions

Huawei Band 6 sports a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with 196 x 368 pixels. The display is touch and supports slide and touch gestures. It comes in gold and dark gray color options and the straps are made of Silicon.

The band includes an Optical heart rate sensor, Gyroscope, and Accelerometer sensor. It comes with a bunch of health-related features including the heart rate measuring. The Band 6 is compatible with Android 6.0 or later and iOS 9.1 or later.

Furthermore, it supports 5TAM water resistance and can be connected to the devices using Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. It can provide you up to 14-day battery life.

Huawei patents a new information processing technology

Huawei published a new patent related to traffic information processing methods. It aims to solve the problem related to traffic signals and avoid traffic accidents. This patent describes a method that helps the driver to calculate real-time traffic.
