Honor Magic 9 Pro Max will feature dual 200MP sensors and 500mm camera kit

Honor has confirmed a dual 200MP camera setup for the Magic 9 Pro Max. After the ROBOT PHONE, the upcoming flagship will be another Honor handset featuring two ultra-large imaging sensors. But there is one more “Mega” surprise in the new teaser.

After announcing the launch date, the company has started teasing features of the Honor Magic 9 series (Pro Max model), including a dual 200MP camera setup.

The company said the Magic 9 series will sport ARRI’s dual 200MP ultra-high definition imaging sensors, delivering outstanding camera performance.

In addition, the Magic 9 series camera framework will be paired with the Master Photography Kit. This kit contains two thumb-like teleconverters: a mega 500mm lens and a 200mm Thumb teleconverter, which weighs only 88 grams.

One can easily slide these teleconverters into their pockets and attach them to the giant camera ring at times of use. All these components ensure clearer day and night shots, irrespective of the distance, and offer an impressive experience.

These external lenses will likely increase light intake and enable users to shoot extreme close-up shots or ultra-wide landscapes. Leaks even say the 500mm teleconverter could become the longest focal-length external lens solution in the industry.

Details reveal that the G200mm (200mm) will debut with a portable design and could be the smallest external lens to date. On the other hand, the G500 (500mm) teleconverter focuses on enhancing telephoto capabilities, greater for distance shooting.

Magic 9 series is expected to excel in four aspects: Appearance, Performance, AI Experience, and Imaging Features. The company has started warming up the device in full swing and we may learn more about the flagship in the coming days.
