Honor 30S 5G makes global debut, features 64MP quad camera, punch hole display, Kirin 820

Honor 30S was initially launched on March 30 in China and the company has now brought this phone in Russia. The Honor 30S 5G comes with a 64MP quad-camera system, 40W Supercharge, Magic UI 3.1, and Kirin 820 5G.

To be mentioned, it’s just the renamed version of Huawei P40 Lite 5G. Meanwhile, the Chinese version of Honor 30S is very different compared to the global Honor 30S.

The Honor 30S 5G (6GB+128GB) in Russia is priced at 27,990₽ ($400) and comes in three color options including Titanium Silver, Neon Purple, and Midnight Black.

Customers who’ll pre-order the Honor 30S until July 3, will get a free Honor Band 5 or a pair of Honor Magic Earbuds. Customers will also get 3 months of subscription for Yandex Plus as well as a discount of 3,000₽.

Honor 30S comes with a 6.5-inch display with a FullHD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution with hole-punch design to house a 16MP f/2.0 aperture selfie camera.

The phone equips with Kirin 820 processor supported by 6GB of RAM + 128GB storage (upgradable up to 256GB NM card). The phone packs with a 4000mAh battery that can recharge with 40W SuperCharge.

It runs the latest Magic UI 3.1 operating system without Google Mobile Services (GMS) instead it has HMS + AppGallery.

From the camera perspective, the Honor 30S comes with a quad-camera consisting of 64 MP (high-resolution lens, f/1.8 aperture) + 8 MP (ultra wide-angle lens, f/2.4 aperture) + 2 MP (Bokeh lens, f/2.4 aperture) + 2 MP (macro lens, f/2.4 aperture).
