Honor 20 Youth Edition receiving January security update with new optimizations

Earlier we saw a new EMUI update being received by Huawei Enjoy 10S, which brings a number of new optimizations and improvements. Also, an Honor phone that’s very similar to the Huawei Enjoy 10S is now receiving these same optimizations.

Honor is sending a new EMUI software version for Honor 20 Youth Edition, which installs some latest fixes along with a new security patch.

What’s new?

This new upgrade brings optimization for camera HDR mode to increase photo details. Optimize selfie effects on some third-party apps for clearer pictures.

It optimizes display touch screen experience, optimizes system stability to make your phone run smoother and January 2020 security patch.

January 2020 security update improves system security with Google security patches and fixes to 2 critical and 16 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

Versions:

Honor 20 Youth Edition receiving a new update with EMUI 9.1.1.151 and users are required to upgrade to EMUI version 9.1.1.132 to receive this new EMUI update.

Note: Honor 20 Youth Edition/Honor 20 Lite is limited to the Chinese market.
