Huawei’s HarmonyOS is like the star of every Huawei user’s eye and they wanted to grab it now. But, it is limited to the Chinese market and there’s no global date announced at the moment. It is all time hot topic for discussion among Huawei device users in the overseas markets.

Huawei HarmonyOS is a multi-kernel-based operating system, which is solely developed by Huawei for its devices. However, the main objective is to reduce the dependence on the Android ecosystem. Also, it is open-source and available for all third-party phone makers via OpenAtom Foundation.

Since its launch in China, global Huawei users are hoping to get a hands-on Huawei HarmonyOS system. But, due to some issues, Huawei has delayed the HarmonyOS global launch for the time being.

In the meantime, we have received some input on the subject of the HarmonyOS global introduction. Previously, it was reported that HarmonyOS could be debuted in the global market in 2022.

Following this, Huawei has officially replied on the matter and emailed the statement to us:

“Currently, there is no plan for smartphones outside China to upgrade to HarmonyOS, but consumers can enjoy HarmonyOS 2 and its ground-breaking user experience on the recently launched Huawei tablets, Huawei Vision, and smartwatches.” Huawei
