HarmonyOS 4.2 public beta rolling out for Huawei Pocket 2 and 23 other devices

Huawei has released the all-new HarmonyOS 4.2 public beta software upgrade for 25 flagship devices including the newly launched Pocket 2 foldable phone. The company started rolling out the firmware and it will approach eligible handsets in China.

The new HarmonyOS 4.2 software system carries version 4.2.0.110 and a massive package size of 6.81 Gigabytes. It is better to opt for a standard Wi-Fi/internet connection and sufficient storage space before proceeding with the installation process.

For a few weeks, the Chinese tech giant has been working with a new HarmonyOS software. Huawei even initiated a new beta program for its top flagship smartphones and tablets. As of now, the respective activity has made progress, allowing more users to test the latest enhancements ahead of the official rollout.

• The Interactive theme can change the custom background when cutting out pictures, which will bring more room for creativity.

System:

• Improves the Tiantong satellite connection speed, making it faster and smoothes the communication (Only applicable to Mate 60 series)
• Optimizes the user experience while capturing images and previewing them.
