HarmonyOS 2 fifth batch beta recruitment will start early August for 8 devices

Huawei has started HarmonyOS 2.0 closed beta recruitment for 14 smartphones (no-log version) including Huawei P20, Mate 10, Nova 4, Honor 30S, Play 4, and more. To be mentioned, these phones took part in the HarmonyOS 2 fourth round beta recruitment.

Alongside this, Huawei has also confirmed a list of devices that are eligible to enroll in the fifth batch of HarmonyOS 2.0 beta testing and start in early August.

HarmonyOS 2 beta fifth batch:

  • Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus
  • Huawei Enjoy 10S
  • Honor 10
  • Honor V10
  • Honor 9X
  • Honor 9X Pro
  • Honor 20S
  • Honor Play 4T

HarmonyOS 2.0 progress:

On June 2, Huawei has debuted the much-awaited HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system for users and simultaneously released the HarmonyOS 2 upgrade plan for 100+ Chinese devices.

Right after the launch, the company has started the HarmonyOS 2.0 public and closed beta testing for eligible models. At the moment, Huawei has sped up the beta activity and testing the devices, which are scheduled to get HarmonyOS 2.0 in 2022.

The HarmonyOS 2.0 beta testing clearly shows that Huawei is running ahead of its plan to provide HarmonyOS 2 as early as possible.

HarmonyOS 2.0 goal:

Previously, Huawei announced that the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system will be installed on over 360 million devices by the end of 2021.

Additionally, the software department chief also discloses the big aim to hit in 2022 and that is to install HarmonyOS in 1.23 billion smart devices.

Meanwhile, Huawei has yet to reveal its global plans with HarmonyOS 2 operating system.
