Huawei MediaPad M6 is Huawei’s first tablet that entered the European market with EMUI 10 but in China, the tablet was initially launched with EMUI version 9.1.

To upgrade this tablet with EMUI 10, the company started a beta program in November last year and recruited users for both models from this tablet series – Huawei MediaPad M6 10.8-inch and M6 8.4-inch versions.

Huawei has already pushed several versions to this beta activity and recently the company has sent a new EMUI 10 beta update for these devices that bring the latest improvements and security features.

More details linked below.

MediaPad M6 8.4-inch update:

The EMUI 10 beta patch with version 10.0.0.220 brings support for new apps, fixes issues with application switching.

MediaPad M6 10.8-inch update:

The EMUI 10 beta patch with version 10.0.0.223 improves system stability, adds support for new apps, fixes apps crashing issues, fixes unlocking issues, and install February 2020 security enhancements.

The February 2020 security comes with Google security patches and fixes 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

One of the critical CVE-2020-0022 AKA BlueFrag was also fixed in this update, which allows silent code execution on the device that leads to data theft and spreading malware.

The company will continue to send new patches until the beta program concludes.
