Dual Channel Bluetooth Transmission update rolling for Huawei FreeBuds 3 in the UK

The latest feature of Huawei FreeBuds 3 – Isochronous Dual Channel Bluetooth Transmission has started to roll out for global users. The feature allows two headsets to receive the left and right audio channels directly from a smart device.

Now the Isochronous Dual Channel Bluetooth Transmission update rolling out for the FreeBuds 3 users in the UK and brings along with the following changes.

  • Your device now supports isochronous dual-channel Bluetooth transmission via Bluetooth.

Optimizations:

This new update for Huawei FreeBuds 3 in the UK comes with version 1.9.0.522 and 2.01 MB size.

Isochronous Dual Channel transmission:

Huawei’s self-developed dual-channel synchronized technology allows two headsets to receive the left and right audio channels directly from a smart device while facilitating direct communication between the device and the two headsets without interference.

The dual-channel synchronous transmission mode uses leads to latency remains ultra-low down to 190ms, making FreeBuds 3 the perfect wireless earbud for gamers who want instant acoustic feedback for an immersive gaming experience.

HOW TO UPDATE FreeBuds 3:

  1. Open the AI Life app.
  2. Make sure the earphones have been connected to your phone and earphones are placed inside the charging case, leave the charging case open, then select the corresponding card for your earphones to access the device home screen.
  3. Touch Check for updates.
  4. If an update is available, touch UPDATE.
  5. Wait until the update is complete.
  6. After the update is complete, close the charging case and wait for 10 minutes for the case to be automatically updated.

Note:

  1. Please ensure that the battery levels of both the earbuds and the charging case are higher than 30% before updating.
  2. Put both earbuds into the charging case, keep the case open and press and hold the button on the charging case for more than 10 seconds until the inner indicator light flashes red. Then pair the earbuds with your phone again before charging and updating.
  3. Before updating, please put both earbuds into the charging case and keep the case open until the update is complete.

Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus update

Huawei has begun rolling out HarmonyOS security update released in November 2021 for Enjoy 20 Plus 5G smartphone. This latest firmware improves the smartphone security by fixing several new bugs and vulnerabilities found in the latest software build.

Aside from the security improvements, the November 2021 update for Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus 5G doen’t includes any other changes or optimizations for the system. Well, this security patch fixes  1 CVE in the system, 5 CVEs in Kernel,10 CVEs in the application, and 40 CVEs in the third-party library.

Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus 5G:

Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 (MT6853) SoC, comes with EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 and has a 6.63-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. This phone packs with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of standard internal storage. There is the triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP+8MP+2MP and for selfies, the phone comes with a 16MP front camera iwth an f/2.2 lens.

Huawei is sending a new HarmonyOS update for Honor Play 4 smartphone that mainly installs the security patch released in November 2021. As per the updated information, the firmware update comes HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.212 from 2.0.0.211.

The November 2021 security update for Honor Play 4 smartphone fixes 1 CVE in the system, 5 CVEs in Kernel,10 CVEs in the application, and 40 CVEs in the third-party library to enhance the overall device security.

  • The device must have a better battery backup to install this update that is a minimum of 50%.
  • It’s compulsory to check your storage availability(Internal/External SDcard) to download the latest update as per the size required
  • A strong WiFi/mobile data connection is required for a buffer-free download of the package.

Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 inch tablet is receiving a new HarmonyOS 2 software update that comes with version 2.0.0.220 from 2.0.0.217 in China. According to the information, this latest firmware added a new cross-device task management function to the task center.

With a cross-device task management function, you can view and use the historical tasks of the same Huawei ID device, and perform tasks management operations such as mutual transmission and more. [Full changelog below]

Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 2.0.0.220 changelog:

Task Center: New cross-device task management function in the task center (slide from the bottom of the screen to enter the short pause), you can view and use the historical tasks of the same Huawei ID device (requires support for the task center), and perform tasks Management operations such as mutual transmission.

HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

You can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, tap on the update, then select Check for updates, and then download and install.

Huawei MatePad Pro is the latest generation of flagship tablet from Huawei which comes with a bunch of high-end features. It sports a 10.8 inch OLED display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and 2560 x 1600 resolutions.
