China Unicom and Huawei formed 5G RedCap industry alliance

Recently, China Unicom held its 3rd 5G + Industrial Internet Summit Forum at the 7th World Intelligence Conference in China. And China Unicom has formed the industry’s first 5G RedCap industry alliance with Huawei and other important partners.

According to the details, China Unicom has formed a 5G RedCap alliance with China Huadian Corporation Tianjin Company, CNOOC Engineering, Huawei, Ziguang Zhanrui, and other enterprises.

The alliance consists of six special committees, including technology research, application development, and industry promotion. Towards the current major challenges and requirements, the mature technology, products, and services of 5G RedCap are integrated into industrial supply.

Meanwhile, it aims to bind enterprise cooperation, and collaboratively build an advanced technology base and full-stack product system.
