Huawei turbo charge mode video

Huawei recently started to rollout a new Turbo charge mode for flaghip smartphones including Mate 50 and P50 series in China and now we got the live-action video of how this actually works.

The video below will show you how the Turbo Charge works over SuperCharge on a Huawei smartphone. According to the information, users will have to tap and hold on to the center of the screen to enter turbo charge mode.

A big thanks to Thomas Zhao for this amazing input.

Update:

Huawei has rolled out this feature for devices with HarmonyOS software in China. These phones come with a 66W inbox charge. Also, the feature description reads that it will allow your phone to charge at a faster rate. It’s expected that the feature will expand for more old models in the coming weeks.

However, it should be noted that this update won’t increase the supported charger wattage for your smartphone, as it requires hardware changes. However, our tipster noted that there will be a slight improvement in charging speed than before.

Such upgrades are important and using them could further improve the user experience. Also, it maximizes the ability to charge the device fast. However, it would trigger a warning for a change in device temperature, which is kind of usual to see for charging features.

Currently, it is available only for devices in China but we want to see it rolling out for global smartphones, as these come with similar hardware specs. To know more about these rollout check out the post linked below.
