Huawei has recently released its new high-end flagship series – the Mate 50 series. To be mentioned, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro model is the most refined smartphone of the company, and its cover glass, frame, and other components are supplied by BYD Electronics.

BYD Electronics:

The firm was founded in 1995, headquartered in Shenzhen, China. It is the leading provider of intelligent products for smartphones, PCs, and others.

The company also applies some of its products to the Huawei Mate 50 Pro smartphone. With this, the appearance of the phone is more attractive and makes it different from the other members of the series.

Recall that the Mate 50 Pro comes with a slightly bigger 6.74-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone includes a 50 MP main rear camera with a variable aperture lens. Along with, a 64 MP telephoto lens, and a 13 MP ultrawide lens.

The Mate 50 Pro equips a 4G version of Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset paired with 8GB RAM. The phone also boasts a 4700 mAh non-removable battery with 66W fast charging.

Alongside this, the Pro model has a classy design with an IP68 waterproof level of 6 meters, 0.90mm antenna slit width, and a super-large step structure of the VC heat sink.

Also, the gap between the screen and the middle frame is very small that is 0.05mm. Further, these designs make it more difficult to manufacture the middle frame with metal.

BYD Electronics also claims that with its help, Huawei is successful to use Corning’s 7th generation glass on the glass back cover of the Mate 50 Pro smartphone for the first time.

If we go into flashback moments, the Huawei P50 series also equips the components supplied by BYD. The P50 Pro smartphone consists of aluminum-lithium glass which the firm and Huawei jointly developed.

Furthermore, P50 Pro was the first to use this glass cover which gives a better feel and texture to the phone.
