Today, Huawei started to rollout EMUI 13 beta update in Europe. This news comes after the company began recruitment for this software testing program last month in the region.

According to the information, we’ve currently recorded activity for Huawei P50 Pro. And users report us receiving the first EMUI 13 beta build via the OTA method. However, it may also be available for other smartphones in the campaign including Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Nova 10.

Coming back to the topic, EMUI 13 beta rolling out for Huawei P50 Pro users in Europe with EMUI version 13.0.0.231. Users will have to download a package size of 5.98GB. This is a big download but it suits all of the new capability it adds to the smartphone.

Beta participants will receive the new update using system settings. You can check for a new software update via System & Updates, from here, tap on Software update. Subsequently, you will be greeted with an option to CHECK FOR UPDATES.

If the device doesn’t fetch new firmware, it indicates that the EMUI 13 beta rollout has not begun for your model in Europe. Hence, the process may take some time to complete the release circle. All of the beta testers should follow the safety notes to get a better installation.

Beta software may contain bugs and glitches, which is a normal behavior of under-testing software. You can report these bugs to help the developers. Make sure your device is charged in order to complete the installation smoothly. You can make a backup of important files in order to reduce the possibility of unwanted data loss.

EMUI 13 is the latest Huawei mobile software for global smartphone users. It replicates most of the features from HarmonyOS 3.0 and simplifies the interactions.

For example, the new smart folders have better layout options and allow you to shift large folders according to home screen space. The super device is also making its debut with EMUI 13 along with service widgets.

This new EMUI version offers increased security and better privacy than its predecessor.

Special thanks to the tipsters – Johnny Manuel and Petre Ionescu, awesome work guys 🙂
