Huawei EMUI April 2022 security patch details were just published on the Android security bulletin. Alongside this, Huawei has also released an updated list of Huawei devices that are eligible to get an April 2022 EMUI security update.

The installation of the latest April 2022 security update boosted system security and privacy by fixing 28 CVEs in the overall EMUI system. In terms of severity level, there were 19 high and 9 medium levels of CVEs found in the system.

To be mentioned, Huawei has upgraded its least possible devices to HarmonyOS operating system in China. But, the global Huawei device users are still running on the EMUI software version.

In the latest development, Huawei is seeding EMUI 12 software in global Huawei devices that might fulfill the user’s wish to install HarmonyOS on their corresponding devices. Because EMUI 12 is completely inspired by Huawei’s HarmonyOS, which is limited to the Chinese market at the moment.

Currently, EMUI 12 rollout is going on the global market. Following the official EMUI 12 rollout plan, all Huawei eligible smartphones will receive the stable EMUI 12 update by the end of April 2022.
