April EMUI security update released for Huawei Mate 20 X 5G in the UK

Huawei has started to rollout the April security update for the Huawei Mate 20 x 4G and now it’s time to update the Mate 20 X 5G with this latest security enhancement in the UK. The update will also expand in Europe.

The latest update for Huawei Mate 20 X 5G comes with April 2020 security patches from Google and brings fixes to 5 critical, 12 high, and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

HUAWEI MATE 20 X 5G APRIL UPDATE CHANGELOG:

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in April 2020 for improved system security.

VERSION:

Huawei Mate 20 X 5G receiving the latest update with EMUI version 10.0.0.192 and a software package size of 133MB. This update is confirmed in the devices subscribed to Vodafone UK.

Open Support app
Click on ‘Services’ tab
Click on ‘Update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’

Via Settings:

Open Settings
Click on ‘System & updates’
Click on ‘Software update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’
