Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that Apple could unveil a surprising new smartwatch by next year or probably by the following. This unveiling will take place on the occasion of the 10th anniversary.
What’s interesting is that this design change is reported to be the biggest in the past time and the company is focusing on making this watch different from the existing lineup.
Apple Watch X is likely to switch from the band-compatible sliding system to a new magnetic attachment system, in an effort to reduce space to increase more internal room for battery.
Also, it’s mentioned that the company is frustrated with providing only a few features each year on a new device. Gurman says that “internally Apple has held discussions about slowing down that year-over-year pace.”.
Currently, the plans to launch Apple Watch X remains unknown until more reports draw in.
