Google is readying another major upgrade in the form of Android 15 and the company might begin the new software’s developer activities this week. As per the latest input, Google has scheduled the Android 15 first Developer Preview for February 15.

In a recent Android Open Source Project post, a Googler commented that the company has set up the Android 15 Developer Preview 1 launch date for February 15, leading to explore a variety of features as well as testing activities.

The Googler denoted Android 15 with the letter V in the comment post. While Pixel users have locked their eyes on the Android 14 QPR3 beta 1 firmware and its features, the company planned to put forth another grand offering on the table.

Release Time:

Notably, Google has treated developers with the Android 14 DP1 by this time, last year. Thus, the tech maker might bring the first look at its next Android version tomorrow. No doubt, it would be available first to Pixel devices with manual flash image files.

Meanwhile, a slight delay could result in the Android 15 DP1 rollout later this week. Eventually, the respective software activity will deliver an idea of what to expect for eligible devices with the upcoming Android operating system.

Another one would be the Private Space which lets you hide some secret apps in a secure place that only you can have access to. One can proceed by tapping on Security & Privacy > Private Space > “Hide Private Space when locked” option.

Lock Screen widgets could be the next useful feature along with a vital ‘communal’ space that may act as a widget drawer. Just slide it inward from the right edge of the lock screen to open it.

However, a significant implementation would be displaying content under the status bar and navigation bar for a better user experience. We may see more staggering features with the Android 15 Developer Preview 1 if launched this week.
